Bad luck: you do your makeup for the day and an awkward gesture is enough to break your tan, foundation, eyeshadow, or even your blush … The packaging is intact, but your powder is in crumbs … Au Given the situation, you can opt for two different solutions: either you get rid of your crumbled product, or, you give it a second life.
If you opt for the second option, here are some quick and easy tips to repair your makeup.
1 – Repair its broken powder: finish breaking it
As paradoxical as it may seem, it is advisable at first to finish breaking the powder, until it is reduced to a crumb, for a homogeneous final result. To do this, the tip of a spoon will do the trick perfectly.
2 – Repair its broken powder: gradually add 90 � alcohol
After crushing your powder, gradually add 90 � alcohol (count about 2 caps for a powder of conventional size). Wait a few seconds for the alcohol to absorb.
3 – Repair its broken powder: mix everything
Once step 2 has been completed: mix everything (with the tip of a makeup brush or a small spatula), until a pasty appearance is obtained. The alcohol will eventually evaporate, and will serve to harden your powder.
4 – Repair its broken powder: cover your powder with plastic film
Once mixed, cover your powder with plastic wrap, before smoothing it with your fingers or a smooth object to reshape it. Remove the plastic wrap, then lightly press your powder with a tissue to remove excess moisture.

Once the 4 previous steps have been completed, all you have to do is let your powder air dry, leaving your compact open overnight.
